Playmobil employee tested positive for Covid-19 – precautions have been taken

TVM can reveal that the Maltese man who tested positive for Covid-19 last Saturday, after he went into work on Friday, works at the Playmobil factory

In an internal memo sent to all employees, the company’s management said that the employee had no symptoms while he was at the workplace and only started showing symptoms after he left.

It said that he was working in a segregated area in the Injection Department, and after contact tracing was carried out by the health authorities it was determined that no one else had been exposed at the workplace, however as a precaution, one of the employees was placed under quarantine.

The management added that the place where the employee was working was fumigated as were the toilets and other areas he may have frequented.
