PN appeals to Government to change its decision on Bulebel

The Nationalist Party appealed to the Government to change its decision on the extension of the Bulebel industrial estate.

The party said in a statement that if this extension goes on, it will destroy 120,000 square metres of agricultural and historical land, and is a loss for the community of Żejtun.

The Nationalist Party added that this is contrary to the document policy of the Government, ISPED and against the local plan aims.

The party said it believes in sustainable development and, among other things, requested the Government if the necessary study requested by law was done to justify the development.
