PN Leader: Malta needs justice

Opposition and PN Leader Adrian Delia said that whoever is investigating the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia should have the courage to get to the bottom of it because they would find the support of an entire nation who wants justice.

Interviewed on NET Television this evening, Dr. Delia referred to the Labour Party activity organised on Sunday morning saying that along with the Prime Minister there were the two candidates for the Party leadership. He said that the message was clear; that whoever succeeded Prime Minister Muscat was declaring his support with him.

He said that Minister Konrad Mizzi had resigned in title alone but was still there and was endorsing Chris Fearne. He asked whether Chris Fearne would immediately declare that he would be removing Mizzi and investigated him. He asked whether he was keeping him there because he needed his support to be elected in the leadership contest.

The PN leader said that the country was not normal and was held hostage by criminals. He referred to the news that the police had once again arrested Keith Schembri. Dr. Delia said he hoped that this was not just window-dressing and that a full investigation was being carried out indiscriminately. The PN Leader said that things had come to a head and that Malta desperately needed to get back to normal.
