Opposition and PN leader Adrian Delia said that the murder case of Raymond Caruana was instrumental for the country to move on. Speaking during an activity in Gudja Dr. Delia recalled the 33rd anniversary of the murder of Raymond Caruana. Dr. Delia said that the event served as a reminder that back then society had collectively said no to political violence.
The PN Leader said that in contrast, the current government was fighting the will of the people with frame-ups and deception. Dr. Delia said that during a Nationalist government laws were for everyone and everyone was investigated. He added that the country had forgotten abut the murder of Raymond Caruana and today was living through one of the worst periods in Maltese history.
He added that if there was a frame-up in the case of Raymond Caruana, in the case of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia there had been an entire conspiracy to cover up and hide the crime.
