Podiatry services at Health Centres resume as normal

Podiatry services at Health Centres will be back to normal by tomorrow after the General Workers Union withdrew industrial action that had been in place for several days.

In a tweet, Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne announced that the Department of Health and the UHM had come to agreement about podiatrists working at the Health Centers where inter alia an agreement had been reached by both sides, which in the next few days will see a number of allied assistants recruited to assist podiatrists in Health Centers.
