Woman in danger of dying after collision in Zejtun

A collision which occurred yesterday at 8pm in President Anton Buttigieg Street, Zejtun has left a 37-year-old Polish woman in danger of dying, and her 3 year old daughter seriously injured.

The collision involved a Toyota Hilux which was being driven by a 22 year old man from Marsascala and a Toyota Aygo which was being driven by a 36 year old man from Poland.

Passengers in the Aygo also included the man’s wife and his two daughters, 10 and 3.

The woman and child were taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. An inquiry has been launched and is being conducted by Magistrate Dr. Rachel Montebello.
