Prime Minister meets with Valletta 2018 foundation workers

A few days before the official opening of Valletta 2018 celebrations, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat met with the workers of Valletta 2018 foundation.

While thanking them for their work, the Prime Minister said that today Valletta has gained new life and is full of activity. As he invited everyone for celebrations which start on Saturday, Dr Muscat thanked the Nationalist Administration which had submitted the application so that Valletta will be the Capital of Culture.

Valletta 2018 foundation chairman, Jason Micallef, stated that more than a thousand artists will participate in the celebrations, which attracted the interest of various international television stations. Mr Micallef presented the Prime Minister with an invitation for the activities which start on Saturday at 4.00 pm.
