Qrendi Primary School staff: Nicholas was an exemplary, happy and well adjusted boy

Nicholas Zammit, the boy who lost his life tragically this morning at a quarry, limits of Siġġiewi, took part in a school concert where he welcomed and brought joy to the baby Jesus.

Nicholas was in his third year at the Qrendi Primary School and was the youngest of two brothers. Members of staff at his school describe him as an exemplary, happy, well-adjusted boy who did well at school. Two weeks ago he took part in a Christmas concert organised by the school, where he played the part of a boy who welcomed the Baby Jesus and brought him joy.

Nicholas also played football with the Qrendi nursery, who are in mourning and devastated at this morning’s terrible news.

Nicholas did his Holy Communion last June.
