Mass in Gozo to thank President at the end of her term

This morning at Għajnsielem’s Dar Arka, a Mass was celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech as a token of God’s thanks to President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca who is approaching the end of her mandate in the Presidency.

In the words of the President, the Eucharist is a ‘statement’ that is strong enough to reflect her heartfelt thoughts. She said the people of Gozo will remain firmly in her heart and she thanked Bishop Grech for all the help he had provided to her during her Presidency.

The Bishop thanked the President because society had always had a great place in her heart and had used her term in office to give hope to many who had given up feeling hopeful.
