Remanded in custody after being charged with tools theft from car

Two men were remanded in custody after denying before Magistrate Rachel Montebello that they stole tools from a parked car. The case occurred on Sunday.

23-year old Paul Gauci Borda was also charged with theft of spirits, perfumes and two charity donation boxes.

The other man, 30-year old Omar Bekbak who lives in Gżira, was also accused of breaching a conditional discharge and a probation order.

It emerged in Court that the two men have a drug problem.
