Remanded in custody over theft of ring

Nepalese national Shova Thapa has been arraigned in Court and charged with the theft of a ring valued at 400 euro from a woman who had been using her services.

Through lawyer Joseph Calleja, accused pleaded not guilty to the charge, and requested bail.

Inspector Joseph Xerri objected on the grounds accused has no fixed address. The Court denied the request for bail.
