Repubblika and Occupy Justice to hold protest on Castille Square this evening – call for resignation of Cabinet members

Repubblika and Occupy Justice, together with Manuel Delia, will be organising a protest on Castille Square this evening, starting at 7.00 p.m.

They announced this in reaction to the conclusions of the public inquiry released today in connection with the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

The reported that although the State was not involved in the murder which occurred on 16 October 2017, it had to assume responsibility for what had taken place.

They called on the State to apologise to the victim’s family and compensate them and called on the members of the Cabinet to resign.

They also called on the Labour Party to dismiss Joseph Muscat, adding that the general election should only take place when the reforms proposed in the inquiry’s conclusions are implemented.
