Repubblika protests in front of Castille – PL replies

Repubblika said in a statement it is unacceptable that those who are aware of law-breaking, theft, money laundering and the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia are remaining silent or saying they have no responsibility.

In a protest on the steps of Castille, Repubblika stated that the Prime Minister wants to stop the independent inquiry which is bringing into the open a bit of much that his Ministers have kept concealed, and which Repubblika has been campaigning about for 35 months so that justice will emerge from the truth.

In a reaction, the Labour Party said in a statement that aside from the many divisive words used in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, on the day when European Council President Charles Michel was in Malta, it is certain that this Government wants justice to be done in the case of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

It was also stated that not only does the Government not want the inquiry to be stopped, but it wants this to be held immediately on the basis of the request by the same inquiry according to terms agreed upon with the same Caruana Galizia family.
