Ryanair workers to strike in four countries

Unions representing crew members of Ryanair have called a strike between the 25th and 26th July in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Belgium.

The airline’s crew members are requesting the company to respect workers rights in every country it operates and to negotiate a collective agreement. They demanded the company to desist from implementing the Irish labour law for all workers and apply the law of the country in question.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Malta International Airport told TVM that the company did not yet receive information that Malta will be affected by the strike.
