SOON: Supt. of Public Health with latest updates on Covid-19

The Supt of Public Health, Prof  Charmaine Gauci, will be addressing a press briefing at 12.30pm.

Yesterday, the health authorities announced that over the previous 24 hours, 11 new cases were found, and 1,519 swabs were carried out.

At the same time, four patients have recovered.

With these statistics, 103 active cases remain.

Since the first case of the Coronavirus appeared in Malta, we have had 569 cases.

From these, 460 have recovered while six patients have died who had other underlying medical contains which made them more vulnerable and high risk.

Meanwhile, today’s medical bulletin will be transmitted as usual on TVM, Radio Malta, tvm.com.mt and on Facebook Television Malta.
