Saviour Grima died doing what he liked best – fishing with a rod and line

Saviour Grima, popularly known through his nickname Il-Palaw, lost his life this morning when he was enjoying his hobby – fishing with a rod and line. It appears that Grima drowned at Cirkewwa.

71-year-old Grima, who hailed from Birkirkara, is survived by three children and five grandchildren.

The St Helen Fireworks Committee of Birkirkara has expressed its regret at the news of Grima’s demise. Grima had been involved in the parish fireworks activities for long years.

Grima was a dedicated family man, and only yesterday witnessed his grandchildren receiving their first Holy Communion.
