Participating in the Puttinu walk on Good Friday?

In the early hours of Good Friday morning, many will set out on a walk in aid of Puttinu.

This 16th edition will start at 12.30 am from the Mellieħa Parish square and finish on the Floriana Granaries.

This time the walk will not finish at Senglea because of Marsa roadworks and the hazards of walking through such works in darkness. The length of the walk will be 22 kilometres and should take approximately four hours.

Tomorrow evening at 10 pm there will be transport from the Granaries and a donation of €10 will be requested from every participant, the money going to Puttinu Cares. At the end of the walk there will also be transport from the Granaries.

Last year donations raised from this support walk reached €91,000 and the walk drew 10,000 participants.
