UPDATED: Alleged restaurant shooter in California killed

A man who is alleged to have opened fire in a restaurant in the United States was killed on the spot while 11 people, including a Police official, were injured at Thousand Oaks in California.

It is not as yet known whether there were any facilities during the shooting that took place a short while ago.

At the time of the shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill there was an event for country music lovers.

Reports state the aggressor probably used smoke bombs and carried a firearm. At the time of the shooting the place was packed with patrons and pandemonium broke out as people tried to escape.
