Six schools open their doors in summer for children with autism

For six consecutive summers six schools have opened their doors for children with autism so that they can spend their recreational time in a safe environment.

The schools which will be open are: St Paul’s Bay primary, Attard primary,  Xgħajra primary, Marsaxlokk primary, Sannat primary as well as the Zokrija secondary school in Mosta.

This initiative was launched by the Chairperson of the Marigold Foundation, Michelle Muscat, who said that parents who have  children who autism have the opportunity for them to spend time in an environment where they have their minds at rest. They can make use of the facilities which are purposely equipped so that children with autism can play without being in any danger.
