In Spain, four people lost their lives after the country was hit by a heavy storm. The storm was named Gloria because the country had not been hit by such a storm in many years.
The storm hit Spain on Sunday and led to at least 30 provinces being placed under storm alert, with winds reaching up to 115 km per hour and winds which reached around 8 metres high.
The bad weather also led to a number of schools closing their doors. Together with the schools, Alicante airport also cancelled around 200 flights.
Among those who died was a 63-year-old man who died in his home after he was hit by pieces of the ceiling which was pulled down by the wind.
