Spain: After a week rescue efforts continuing to rescue boy who fell down a borehole

Efforts are continuing in Spain to save a two-year-old boy who fell down a borehole a week ago.

The boy named Julen fell into a 25 centimetre-wide and 100 metres deep borehole during a family outing in the mountainous zone near Totalan in Malaga.

Rescue officials have no indications whether he is still alive but are nevertheless continuing their rescue efforts.

Throughout the week two tunnels were being dug in the hope of providing access for rescue officials to gain access to where the boy is trapped.
