Special session for Eurovision, Destiny places second best in Sweden

What should have been an extraordinary spectacle with all manner of songs and beautiful choreography has failed to materialise. The Eurovision final scheduled for this evening will now not take place. Despite this setback, followers of this year’s festival will not end up disappointed, as the European Broadcasting Union will give a direct broadcast this evening, with exceptional coordination, of a special session entitled ‘Europe Shine A Light’.

In short, the public is expected to enjoy a feast of music which is not competitive. Among others, the 41 contestants who had tried their luck for this year and were lucky to have been chosen to represent their country, will team up this evening for this special session. With this in mind, every artist recently interpreted an excerpt from his or her song from an iconic location in their particular country. Destiny, on our behalf, will enthral the audience with her voice from the Esplora complex.

‘Europe Shine A Light’ is being broadcast tonight at 9.00 p.m. on TVM.

Meanwhile, in the past hours Destiny’s incredible talent has continued to win over the public, with the young singer placing second in a Swedish version of the festival. Over 1,400,000 viewers voted during this show.
