SterjoTipi’s music video ‘Mostri’ lambasts construction industry

The local band ‘SterjoTipi’ has just issued another song named ‘Mostri’ (Monsters) following their two other song issues, ‘Ħajja ta’ Xejn’ and ‘Int u Jien’.

Based on rock style, ‘Mostri’ reflects on the phenomenon of hi-rise buildings and the lust and strength of developers.

In a statement, the group said the exaggerated metaphors of the lyrics “il-mostri jaħbulna x-xemx” (the monsters hide our sunshine) appeals to legislators to amend or change the policies on Maltese terrain, especially natural stretches of terrain.

‘SterjoTipi’ will be performing at the Valletta Waterfront on 31st December as part of the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
