Strong earthquake felt in Athens

Telecommunication and electricity supply services have been disrupted in the Greek capital Athens following a strong earthquake which was registered in the area some time ago.

Several persons ran out into the streets as a precaution.

The earthquake registered 5.3 on the Richter scale.
