Summer carnival cancelled after tragic death of Carnival enthusiast

Carnival activities which were scheduled to take place at the end of the week have been cancelled in the aftermath the tragic death of Jean Paul Bonnett who died a result of an electric shock while working on a Carnival float.

The Ministry of Justice Culture and Local Government and Festivals Malta made this announcement during a statement, while expressing their condolences.

The Ministry went on to say that Jean Paul Bonett was one of the best in his field and for many years served as a leader of one of the main carnival companies.
