Suspicion of bomb under car closes Imsida street

A box under a car parked in Antonio Sciortino Street in Imsida raised suspicion of being a bomb.

The street was closed shortly after 1.00 pm when Police officers arrived on site and confirmed the suspicion on the object.

Following investigation on site by members of the Armed Forces’ explosive section, it was confirmed that the object was not a bomb, and the street was re-opened normally.
