Half of Afghanistan is in the hands of the Taliban as they have continued to take over more districts from the Government.
This development is taking place in the light of the withdrawal of Americans troops from the country.
The American military had invaded the country and kicked the Taliban out of power in November 2001.
The US invaded Afghanistan to catch the leader of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden.
The American Government had spent billions of dollars to train Afghan Government soldiers.
However this was not enough for the Afghan authorities to keep control of the country and more zones were seized by the Taliban fighters.
