Teenager who fell on rocks in Sliema released from ITU

The 14-year-old boy who fell on the rocks in Sliema has been released from the Intensive Care Unit.

On 24 July, the boy, who is of Chinese nationality and lives in the same area, fell in Tigne.

Apart from the Police on the scene, members of the Department of Civil Protection were also there, as well as paramedics who administered First Aid.

The boy was taken to Mater Dei where he was certified to have been seriously injured however his condition has now improved.

Apart from the Police investigations, an inquiry about the incident has also been opened by Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit.
