The early bird catches the comet

Early risers can enjoy an unusual spectacle in the skies as Comet C / 2020 F3 Neowise is currently visible from anywhere in Malta with a clear view of the eastern horizon.

Astrophysicist Dr Joseph Caruana, who took these photos, said the comet is currently visible before sunrise, especially between 4.15 and 4.45 in the morning.

For those who fail to see it this week, next week the comet will be seen in the evening in the west, for as long as it remains visible.
