The Bank of Valletta has announced that was from Monday 17 August, it will re-open its four other branches located in Fgura, Fleur de Lys, Hamrun and Mellieha.
In a statement the bank said that in this way the total number of branches and agencies which will be open will amount to 39.
It said that these BOV branches will open from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.
The cashing of cheques and withdrawals can be made up until noon according to the usual schedule prior to COVID.
On Saturday, the branches will not offer any cashier services but will be open between 8.30 am – 12.30 pm for other services such as home loans, personal loans, the opening of accounts, investment, applications for credit ad debit cards, Internet and mobile banking.
To avoid the queues, clients can make an appointment for non-cashier services by sending an email to [email protected] with the type of service required, a mobile number, ID card and their preferred branch, or by phoning +356 2131 2020.
The bank also said that the ATM at the Hamrun branch has been changed into a more advanced one for more convenient banking services. By means of these types of ATMs, clients may deposit cash and cheques directly into their bank account.
Clients can avoid the queue by using BOV digital services such as ATMs, BOV Cards, BOV Pay, BOV Mobile and Internet Banking for less expensive, faster and safer banking services. The Bank of Valletta has 97 ATMs around Malta and Gozo, 44 of which are more advanced ad offer a wider ranger of services.
