“These are the new standards we will be adhering to” – PM on resignation of Dr Caruana

Prime Minister Robert Abela said that Justyne Caruana’s resignation from the Cabinet is a sign of the new standards which the Government will be adhering to.

Dr Abela was speaking to journalists in front of Parliament as he came out of the sitting during which he announced the resignation of Dr Caruana from her post as Gozo Minister.

The PM said that today the Government had given an example of the ethical standards which are expected and expressed his hope that Adrian Delia would use the same ethics with himself and his own MPs.
