Three arrested following seizure of five blocks of cannabis resin

Rapid Intervention Unit police officers seized five blocks allegedly containing cannabis resin at Żejtun.

Two men – a 39-year old from Paola and a 56-year old from Marsaskala – were found in possession of 600 grams of cannabis. They were arrested on site, while a 39-year old woman also from Marsaskala was also arrested.

Duty Magistrate Dr D. Frendo was informed and ordered an inquiry on the case.
