Three companies recognized for their initiatives in energy efficiency

Energy and Water Minister, Joe Mizzi, presented certificates to three companies which took initiatives in energy efficiency.

The certificates are part of a project led by the Malta Business Bureau in partnership with the Energy and Water Agency and the Chamber of Commerce. Minister Mizzi said that the project addresses the importance that small and medium sized enterprises attach to energy efficiency.

The Minister stated that the Government is committed to continue to offer financial assistance schemes to SMEs with the aim that the country reaches the target for clean energy by 2030. He added that the energy sector is a priority on the Government’s agenda due to its great importance for the country’s economic and social progress.
