Three persons died and eleven were injured in Russia when an Antonov airplane crashed in the northwestern region of Yamalo-Nenets. The Russian Emergency Ministry said the two-engine passenger plane crashed a few moments after its departure from the Naryan-Mar airport. There were 13 persons on board, including ten adults, a boy and two crew members. The tragic accident occurred some 1,500 kilometres to the Northeast of Moscow.

Russian investigators are trying to establish the cause of the plane’s crash.
