Three new cases of Covid-19 in Malta – and three others recover

Three new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Malta over the past 24 hours after 1,027 swab tests were carried out. To date, a total of 91,571 swab tests have been carried out.

Three patients have been declared as recovered, pushing the total number of recoveries in Malta up to 627.

A total of 668 persons have tested positive for Covid-19, of which 32 are still active.

The health authorities stated that the three cases were not known to be part of any group. Two of them had not shown any symptoms, whereas the third one had shown symptoms.

The health authorities are still urging everyone to follow directives, including maintaining of social distancing, hygiene practices and the wearing of masks or visors in certain places.
