Three Italian dancers lost their lives in a desert accident in Saudi Arabia.
Antonio Caggianelli, Giampiero Giarri and Nicolas Esposto died after their vehicles allegedly overturned while visiting the Riyadh desert, in the Saudi capital.
The cause of the tragic incident is as yet unknown. Three other people were also injured in the accident and were taken to hospital for further treatment.
Caggianelli, Giarri and Esposto went to Saudi Arabia on work to take part in a dance show. On Sunday, between engagements, they set out for the desert for some fun.
Caggianelli, 33, worked on the television program ‘Amici di Maria De Filippi’ and was considered a very promising dancer. Giarri and Esposto were also prominent on television. Giarri, who was 32 years old, had worked in several Italian broadcasts including in ‘Unomattina’ on RAI and in the reality show ‘Grande Fratello’ of Mediaset.
The news of the death of the dancers provoked the reaction of many, among them the popular Italian choreographer Giuliano Peparini.
