Three Wise Men arrive in Malta – where will they be in the next few days?
The Three Wise Men arrived in Malta this morning on a flight from Tel Aviv, where they were touring Bethlehem. At the Malta International Airport, they found three horses waiting for them, which will be taking them around Malta and Gozo over the weekend.
As from tomorrow, the Three Wise Men will be going around Valletta where between 10am and 2pm they will be in St George’s square and the President’s Palace. There they will be performing a reenactment, along with other actors while collecting donations for the MCCF.
At 2.00pm they will then go to Hamrun on horseback and visit the nativity scene made by the Franciscan community. Afterwards they will head to Mosta, where they will be met by a band, and stay there for one night.
On Sunday morning at 7.30am they will leave Mosta, always on horseback, to visit an old people’s home in Mellieha. At around 11.00am they will do another reanactment of the meeting with King Herod in Mellieha square, and as soon as they finish they will head for Cirkewwa to embark on the ferry for Gozo.
At 3pm, there will be the triumphant entry of the Three Wise Men Wara into Bethlehem in Għajnsielem, which is in its tenth edition.
