The atmosphere in the counting hall calmed down after the Labour Party announced this morning that it had won the majority, however the activity of the electoral assistants has not slowed down.
The colour of the boxes in which the votes were cast began changing from green, which means the votes are ready to be shown, to orange which means the votes have been scanned.
In the early afternoon the trends of the most popular candidates for each party started to emerge, with the names of a number of them appearing on the monitors since they had obtained the first preference votes.
So far, everything indicates that the PL will win four seats, although the quota for the fourth seat has still not been reached.
Meanwhile, the adjudicators are evaluating the votes which were marked as dubious and in cases where there is no agreement, the ballot is sent to the members of the Electoral Commission so that they will make a decision accordingly.
