Trump fires his National Security advisor

US President Donald Trump has fired his main national security advisor, John Bolton.

Trump informed Bolton that he was being fired and immediately made it public on Twitter.  The US President said that Bolton who was hired a year ago, had to be fired because there was a considerable lack of. agreement between them on the suggestions and proposals which Bolton was giving Trump.

Bolton’s dismissal was announced in the same week that developments occurred which led to divisions within Trump’s Cabinet, the main one being his decision not to continue negotiating for peace with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
