Trump nominates Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court

US President Donald Trump has nominated Brett Kavanaugh as a judge on the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh, who used to work closely with former President George W. Bush, will be taking the place of Anthony Kennedy, 81, who announced he would be retiring within the next few months.

This nomination may lead to changes to the famous abortion law known as Roe vs Wade, as well as laws regarding weapons and immigration.
