Trump threatens to withdraw funding from WHO amid accusations of collusion with China

U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a letter informing the head of the World Health Organization that the United States was thinking of permanently withdrawing funds to the WHO.

In the letter, Trump gave Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus 30 days for WHO to make substantial improvements in the way it is run, in order for the United States to reconsider its position. Yesterday Trump accused the WHO of being in collusion with China, and accused the Chinese government of covering its base during the COVID-19 pandemic.

China has always denied the accusations against it with the Foreign Minister insisting that the US was attempting to mislead the world.
