Two in hospital following St Julian’s argument

A 28-year-old man from Somalia walked into St Julian’s police station at around 8.30pm last night with wounds to his neck following an argument with another man in Triq San Ġorġ.

The district police called for an ambulance and the man, who is a resident in Fgura, was taken immediately to Mater Dei.

It appears that the man sustained the injuries after he was stabbed in an argument with another Somalian man, aged 45,  resident in Zebbug,  Gozo. The latter also sustained some injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The men were later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.   The Police investigations continue.
