Two killed, various wounded in France terrorist attack

In France, two persons were killed and five others wounded in a knife attack in the southeast of the country. Two of the wounded are in a critical condition.

The attack, described by Interior Minister as a terrorist one, occurred in Romans-sur-Isère village. The aggressor entered a tobacco shop and stabbed the owners and a client. He proceeded to a butcher’s shop where he again attacked other persons.

The suspected attacker is a 33-year old Sudanese who was arrested on the crime scene. Reports say that he was not known to Police.

Currently, France is in a lockdown and people may only leave their homes for necessities and for physical exercises.
