Two men grievously injured in collision between car and motorcycle

Two men from Nepal are suffering from grievous injuries after being involved in a traffic accident.

The accident happened at around 9.30pm in Triq D’Argens, Msida.

From preliminary Police investigations, it results that the collision occurred between a car driven by a 21-year-old Eritrean man, resident in Sliema, and a motorcycle driven by a man from Nepal, aged 28. Another man from Nepal, aged 29, was riding pillion.

Paramedics treated the injured men and an ambulance took them to Mater Dei where they were later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Duty Magistrate Doreen Clarke opened an inquiry and Police investigations continue.
