Two men stabbed in Marsa – one grievously wounded

A 28-year old Eritrean was grievously wounded after he was allegedly stabbed in Marsa. His friend, another Eritrean aged 18, was slightly wounded.

The Police said that the two Eritreans entered the Ħamrun station at around 12.45am and reported that shortly before, while they were in Triq Antonio Doublet, they were assaulted by three other men.

The aggressors allegedly carried a pointed instrument.

As the victims, who both live in Birżebbuġa, had some wounds, the Police requested medical assistance and the two were admitted for treatment at Mater Dei hospital.

The Police are resuming with their investigation and searching for the aggressors.
