Two motorcyclists were grievously injured on Friday afternoon in two separate collisions in Mosta and Ħal Kirkop.
In the first accident, a 31-year old man from Rabat suffered grievous injuries during the Mosta accident, which occurred in Vjal Ragusa at around 1.30pm. The collision involved a Mistsubish L200 Warrior vehicle, driven by a 64-year old Mosta resident and a Muz Baghira bike ridden by a Rabat man. The motorcyclist was hospitalised for treatment.
The second accident involved a 21-year old Bangladeshi motorcyclist from Mosta who was injured in the collision in Triq l-Ewwel Titjira 1915, Ħal Kirkop at around 5.00pm.
The accident occurred when a Lexus IS220D car, driven by a 25-year old Syrian from Paola, collided by a Kymco Agility bike ridden by the Bangladeshi youth.
