Two people hit by a car in Marsa

Two people were hit by a car this morning in Marsa.

The accident happened at around 8.30am in Triq Xatt l-Għassara corner with moll iċ-ċingaturi.

The car was driven by a 28-year-old woman from Mqabba.

The two people who were injured are a Maltese man, aged 46, from Tarxien and a Romanian man, 35, resident in Mosta.

They were taken to the hospital but their condition is not yet known.
