U.S. theatre to ban fans vaccinated with AstraZeneca from attending Bruce Springsteen concert
A controversy is ongoing on a concert which singer Bruce Springsteen is expected to give in New York in the coming days about the banning of fans who were vaccinated with Astra Zeneca dose.
Springsteen will perform at the St James Theatre on the 26th June, with the theatre management will only permit entry to persons who present a certificate that they were vaccinated.
However, as the Astra Zeneca vaccine was not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), persons inoculated with this vaccine will not be permitted to enter the concert theatre.
European and Canadian fans who showed interest to attend the concert, and were vaccinated with Astra Zeneca, expressed their anger for the ban. Even Canadian media organisations condemned the decision of the American authorities.
