UDPATED with video: Two people injured in crash between five cars in St Julian’s
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment after early this morning they were involved in a crash between five cars in St Andrew’s road, St Julian’s.
The police confirmed with tvm.com.mt that the accident took place at around  1.45 a.m. between two cars, one driven by a man aged 36 from Msida and the other by a 17-year-old.
Later, another three cars also crashed into them, one of them a police vehicle from the Rapid Intervention Unit.
Two of the cars were driven by a 31-year-old man from Attard, and an Italian aged 33.
The Italian and the police officer were taken to Mater Dei for treatment were the the police officer was certified to be suffering from slight injuries while the condition of the Italian man is still not known.
