United Arab Emirates: Only vaccinated people can go to public places

The Government of the United Arab Emirates has announced that from 20 August, the authorities will restrict public places to those who are vaccinated against Covid-19.

The Emergency Disaster Committee of Abu Dhabi said that only those who are vaccinated will be allowed to enter shopping  centres, restaurants, coffee shops, sports complexes, museums,  gyms, schools and universities.

The UAE Government said that around 93% of the Abu Dhabi population has taken at least the first dose of the vaccine.
